Product Review: Nails Inc. Magnetic Polish

I finally got my hands on a bottle of the Nails Inc Magnetic Polish
to give it a try myself and see whats up!

Only two colours were available so I decided on the chrome shade Trafalgar Square

It was pretty simple to use, no difference to any polish.

The polish itself looks great without using the magnet to get the design,
so it does have a double wear option.

To get the design, the instructions said to apply polish and let dry slightly, then apply the magnet cap to activate the design, BUT when I followed this I didn't get any results. whomp whomp!

So I completed my two coats and let them dry completely, then applied a third coat and immediately placed the magnet over the wet polish and voila! The design came through.

Two with magnet design, two withought

Overall its pretty cool and it looks nice, almost 3D like!

I also experimented with turning the magnet sideways on my ring finger and basically got the same pattern going sideways LOL, but at least theres a bit of variety in it!

Will you be picking up some Magnetic Polish? Comment and let me know!

The Sajies loves it! and wish it came in pink! ^_^

MUA MANI: Newspaper Nails

Bear with me ppl as I go through my nail polish phase....you can blame this lady if anything lol

The tutorial for this mani can be found HERE

I didn't have news paper so I tried it with pages from the phone book LOL!!! also I used rubbing alcohol instead of Vodka...well...because it's just a crime to use Vodka that way...no?

My Results!

It came out pretty neat I like how some of the text is a bit faded and some are bold, and the fun part is when I get bored I can dial the numbers on my nails randomly! f.u.n.!

MUA MANI: Water Marbling Technique

A wardrobe stylist acquaintance friend in my head  posted this tutorial on her page and I immediately ran out to buy a set of polishes to try it out!

First.......it's not as easy as it looks lol! Which I expected the same way I make a smokey eye look super easy ^_^ hehe.

But it was very fun to do! here are my efforts below, the pics pretty much tell the entire adventure LOL!

I used these polishes I wanted to get a tropical garden effect like mommy's garden back home

Pattern attempt #456776543 err this is an endangered species of flower..yes?

After the dip! not bad lol

err...I donno LOL!

Not super flowery but I kinda like it!

Thumbs Came out awesome!

Clearly u see the patterns on both hands DO NOT MATCH LOL!

pretty!
Check out the video tutorial from the pro....then you can enjoy laughing at my attempts :P

This is absolutely fun to do! I'm going to do this every week and just play around. The trickiest part I think was aiming for the design because my nails are short, and cleaning up the excess in the water..I kept hitting the nail with the orange stick smh.

Butttt I did get complimented on my nails today from my clients and hubby says they look "digital"

You like? :)

xoxo
