The Oscar for Best Red Carpet Beauty....

The Oscars! The only event known to bring on a world wide shortage of faux lashes.

A glamourous event where all leading, supporting, chaperoning, carpet crashing etc.. ladies ( and some men? ) required minimum 2 pairs per eye.

Here are my top pics for best Red Carpet beauty ( clearly the lashes win best supporting role ;) )

MILLA JOVOVICH: Soft sultry smokey eye paired with a bold red lip and vintage inspired up do

ANNA FARIS: Gasp! When did this happen? Clean fresh khol rimmed eyes and a cute blonde bob

MERYL STREEP: Glowed! focus was all about skin

NATALIE PORTMAN: Chocolaty Smokey eyes with soft lip

SANDRA BULLOCK: Pop of sparkle on the eyes with a neutral lip. I'm not super sold on the lip shade, but it works

Now my Oscar Sajie for Best Red Carpet Beauty goes to Angelina and Rooney!!!!!
I can't choose between the bedroom eyes, hair red lip, perfect brows, perfect foundation...I love!

ANGELINA JOLIE: Loved the hair and re...oh oops! wrong body part!

ANGELINA JOLIE: LOVE LOVE LOVE! shut it down!

ROONEY MARA: Those brows YAAAAASSSSS!!!!!!!! everything here is just perfection
can someone say cosmetic campaign very soon?

Love!

There you have it folks! my fave looks. What were yours?

xx

...And the Sajie for Best Red Carpet Look Goes too....

:D Its the Oscars!!!! This is the time for our celebs/actresses/actors/moms etc to OOOOOOZZZEEEEEEE Glamour and regal sophistication... eeekkks!! faux pas WILL NOT be accepted!

Here are my faves from the evening who I thought embodied the tru glam that is thee Oscars

Hailee Steinfeld - in a Marchesa dress: How ADORABLE is she!!!! absolutely fitting!
and her makeup is so pretty and fresh! Love it!

Natalie Portman - in a Rodarte dress: While some may not like the colour
the silhouette of this dress is gorgeous on the mom-to-be
I really like her glowing cheeks too

Jennifer Hudson in Versace: Love the colour of this dress on her though I wish she choose earrings with more sparkle
Makeup is very pretty and clean though her cleavage could have a bit of tan work done

Mila Kunis wore an Elie Saab haute couture gown:  Jaw dropping!!!! LOVED this gown on her
perfect hair and makeup to compliment! Just perfect!

Michelle Williams - in a Chanel dress: Love the clean lines of this dress on her and I really like her makeup very clean with a hint of
drama to the eyes

Sandra Bullock – in a Vera Wang dress: Dynamic in red!!! she looks gorgeous here and I love her shade of red lip

Anne Hathaway in an archive Valentino gown: This is classic Anne she looked so elegant in this dress
Loving the matt red lip

Whose Red dress is your fave??

1
Halle Berry, in Marchesa: After a terrible Golden Globes appearance Halle KILLED IT in Marchesa!!!
Love love love! THIS is the Halle we know :) and with her classic bronze smokey eye

Helen Mirren in a custom-made Fitriani gown: HAWT much?! Gorgeous head to toe! amazing dress and figure
and her face is absolutely radient! Love!

Camila Alves, in a Kaufman Franco dress: she was the date of hottie Matthew McConaughey
and she stole the spotlight! HOW GORGEOUS IS SHE!!! Love the dress
Hair and makeup just perfect!
/
Celine Dion, in Armani PrivĂ©: Twins? what twins? :O Stunning!!!!
Love hair and makeup esp her lashes!

And there you have it!!! My overall faves of wardrobe AND makeup

There were a few faces I liked but the dresses were a no-no and also lovely dresses with blah faces

I have to mention Mandy Moore...i'm still on the fence with her look
I love the dress but not so much the hair..it's very matronly and while her makeup
is very fresh and pretty I feel a tad more colour to the cheeks is needed
everything is so...one shade...no? hmm

Mandy Moore – in Monique Lhuillier
